Although extremism is understandably not on most people's minds when performing volunteer or community work in their local area, it is important to recognise how extremist groups can impact individuals and their communities. This course will provide the historical and current threat from extremism within Newham and East London, whilst giving you the tools to be able to recognise and report extremist symbols, messaging and misinformation.

Join this training for an introduction to children's safeguarding.

The workshop will cover awareness of these substances, how they are used, how they can cause harm, how to safely reduce and how to minimise harm whilst using and reducing substances. This workshop is suitable for professionals who are working with young people who are actively misusing substances, have a history of substance misuse, or are looking to understand the current themes and trends amongst young people. This session is facilitated by Change Grow Live (CGL).
