Support for your health and wellbeing

There are many ways you can get support for your health and wellbeing in Newham:

  • The Well Newham website has information and advice on lots of health and wellbeing topics and services. Use our advice tool to help you find what you need.
  • Use the Directory of Services to refer yourself, friends and family, to over 500 different services 
  • Read the 5 ways to a Healthier Life booklet which has the details of over 100 health and wellbeing services in Newham. You can pick up a printed copy from your local library. 
  • You can also talk to the staff in your local library for help to get online or learn how to use your electronic devices. Find your nearest library here

If you need 1:1 support with your wellbeing there are a number of different Support Workers who can help you. You can find out more about these Support Workers on this webpage: Personalised Care Your GP practice will also be able to advise on who the best person is to support you.

We take your privacy very seriously. As part of our service, we use the Joy platform to store your personal data so we can keep up-to-date records about your health and wellbeing in a safe and secure way. 
 
We will not share your data with anyone or any service without your consent. If you decide you do not want your data stored on the Joy platform, you can tell us and we can delete the data permanently.
