Event information

By the end of the session participants will be able to:

  • Explain the key principals of ‘young people friendly’ services, including effective confidentiality practises
  • Describe the Fraser Guidelines and how they apply to C-Card consultations with under 16’s
  • Conduct a C-Card consultation in line with the programme guidelines, including discussing STI’s & pregnancy, different types of condoms, assessing risk and providing a condom demonstration
  • Administer the C-Card programme and know who to contact for support
  • Explain how and when to refer to other organisations, including tier 2 / 3 sexual health services and Newham MASH.
