British Science Festival: Tiny forests

Supporting ecosystems in the city can be tricky if you don’t know where to look. That’s why Earthwatch are creating hotspots of biodiversity in built up areas, using the intriguing methods of traditional Japanese culture to bring nature to your front door and, hopefully, make a difference to rising climates. But they can’t do it alone.

Join Hanna Mroczka from Earthwatch to learn how you can become a scientist in the city, taking crucial measurements and identifying diverse species, all whilst reconnecting with nature in the tiny forests of the urban jungle.
